| This Saturday's Revival! So make sure you come! Friday and Saturday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The Youth Group will be getting FREE Our Daily Bread devotionals. However, we DON'T want them to send us extras (we don't want them to waste money sending too many devotionals to us). So, if you are interested, please email me <henry.sc.kuo@gmail.com>. If I talked to you about this already, then you don't need to email me.
Our Daily Bread devotionals are recommended for you if you don't have a regular devotional yet. It's not very deep, so it's something that you should "grow out of". Devotionals generally are 10-15 minutes long. Again, as you get older, I hope your devotionals are not just 10-15 minutes long.

| This Saturday is BDG and we'll be talking about St. Francis and St.
Clare of Assisi (pronounced a-SEE-see). So come as we dig into the
Bible together. I hope you remembered that I asked you guys to think
about the Gospel. For those of you who have not yet made a commitment
to follow Christ, I remind you to think about it.
Also, this Saturday, I'll be taking a video of everyone, so make sure
you're there! You need to remember your name, and you need to think of
your favorite thing to do on a lazy summer afternoon. | | |
| This Saturday is "Journey of Prayer". Have you ever thought of prayer
as boring? Yes-- I know you have (might as well fess up to it). But
what you may not know is that prayer is a conversation, and every
conversation is a journey towards knowing each other. So, prayer is a
journey towards drawing closer and knowing God more. The early
Christians (around the 1200s) understood that, and in their churches,
designed a maze called "labyrinths" where worshippers walk through,
meditating and praying as they go.
So, this Saturday, we'll have a labyrinth set up where you get to walk
through, and meditate on God as you walk through. The doulos will be
there to lead you along. As you walk along, keep in mind what we've
talked about the last BDG. What does Jesus' death on the cross mean to
you? Does it mean anything to you? How did His Gospel change your life
(if any)?
Note: this is something that's not done in groups. Please do this by
yourself, because what God tells your friends might not be what He
wants to say to you. This is something to be done in silence. Don't forget to bring your MP3 players or CD
players. If you don't have one, just come-- we have solution(s).
The week after is BDG, where we'll talk about someone whose life was so
transformed by the Gospel, he even took his clothes off to represent
that he has thrown away his past! Who is this guy? Here's a hint:
there's a major city in the U.S. named after him, and it's not Chicago.

| This Saturday, our BDG is about John Newton! Who is he, and why is he important? Come and find out! By the way, if you have non-Christian friends, this is a BDG to invite them to. See you there!
